Spontaneous farmhouse cider made from apples of local field orchards. Fresh, fruity and with a balanced acidity. Fermented in American oak barrels for eight months. Nothing added, nothing removed. Harvest of late October 2020.

Bottle. Dry apple, vanilla, maybe even more American oak than apple, light mineral, apple peel. Light sour and bitter, very light sweet. Medium bodied, quite dry.

14/1/2022. Bottle sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is woody, funky, yeast, vanilla, white wine. Moderate sweetness, light tartness and bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Nice dry tannic finish. Liked this.

Sample courtesy of mintutemat, cheers Mat! Golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of wood, oak barrel, sharp funk. Taste is farmhouse funk, apple, barrel, oaky, vanilla, with white wine notes, some tart acidity and drying woody tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart woody finish. Nicely drinkable.

375ml bottle from Beerdome. Pours a misty dull golden haze. Bright wild floral woody nose, good mixed ferm suggestions. Taste sees this come to life nicely, really interesting mixed ferm blend, captivating wild fruity nuances with a good oak barrel influence, some white wine hints lingering on the finish. Excellent wild cider.

Advent calendar #3. Pale yellow, slightly sparkling, no head. Smells dry apply funky. Light body, good carbonation, drying, refreshing. Taste is funky apple, very dry, lovely aftertaste of apple. Reminding of old farmhouses and orchard. Very well made.
