Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops nd citrus, with touches of yeast and malt. Bitter flavour of hops and grass, with citric touches and sweetish notes of fruit, yeast and malt. Bitter, hoppy aftertaste with grassy notes and sweetish, fruity touches. Well-balanced and enjoyable. Thank you, my friend!

Bottle, 8%. Fruit, citrus, urine aroma. Cloudy dark yellow colour. Stable frothy white head. The flavour is fairly juicy, slightly papery. Full mouthfeel. Not very bitter for the style.

Bottle. Cloudy golden, white head. Piney aroma, grapefruit and rubber bands. Bittersweet flavour, fruity, tropical fruit, lasting hoppy bitterness. Slightly chewy.

Draft at Billie’s Beer Festival ‘18.  Fairly hazy golden with a white head.  Aroma of citrus and hay.  Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter.  Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

French DIPA hopped with Citra, fresh sample at Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Loosely mousy, egg-white, quickly opening head, hazy warm 'old gold' robe. Luscious nose of very strong lychee (even lychee 'jenever'), sugared lemon flesh, honey, pomelo, yellow kiwi, dough, fresh lemonbalm. Again a strikingly outspoken lychee flavour in the onset, mango and orange accents, lovely delicate 'citrusiness', full and doughy malt base soaked in aromatic, again lychee- and mango-like hoppiness, softly bittering with some warming booze in the end, but somehow less crisply citrusy than I would expect from a Citra-hopped IPA. Still, a very up to date, NEIPA-inspired, soft and accessible, fragrant DIPA, the second time this brewery astonishes me by making me forget any other French beer I ever tasted. As 'international' in style and make-up as it could possibly have been.

Tap at La Fine Mousse Restaurant, 13th November 18. Pours a nice looking hazy straw beer. Aroma is tangerine, pineapple. Taste is sweet, tangerine, floral, sorry I need more bitter hop, it's still fine in a small measure

27th May 2020 Can. As Cryo Citra, 8%. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, still carrying a good creamy sweetness. Hops bring crisp pine and the lightest and softest of skunk edges. A light but pleasing tangerine led citrus, light mango in there. Light piney finish. A solid and very drinkable Citra DIPA. Not convinced this batch of Citra is the best but you can't fault what Popihn have done with it.
