Dave from Wylam travelled down from Newcastle and not only came on the daily bread pick up, but also made a beer with us. Dry hopping it with Loral and Citra, this DDH Brut IPA is effortlessly fruity with a dry finish. Featuring Maris Otter and Golden Promise, we were able to reach a low gravity while retaining a balanced mouthfeel and taste throughout.

Can shared at the Columbus tasting 31/10/2018. Many thanks! A translucent golden coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is dry, spicy citrus, woody citrus, stale grape. Flavour is composed of dry woody , little piuthy lemon, pencil wood shaving. Palates i sdry and crisp, woody, moderate carboantion. Little buttery. Not great.

Can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, thin creamy sweetness. Hops bring light thin bitterish citrus. Light bitterish grape vibe. Light sweetish floral fruits on the crispy finish. Good, but not as outstanding as some other Brut IPAs. Lacks that little sprinkle of fairy dust.

Can shared in London - cheers to Dave. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. A bit grainy, some ripe lemon, hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more pale grains. So so.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon and lychee. Flavour of white grape and lemon. Thin to medium body with a light, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Clean and subtle.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Pale gold. Moderate haze. Fine, white head. Nose has lemon sherbet. Tangerine. Grape. Clean malt. Taste has a light, citrus sweetness, but is mostly grassy, slightly earthy bitter. Clean on the palate. Fairly drying. Bright carbonation. Dry, and grassy bitterness to finish. One of the more drinkable brut IPAs so far.

Keg at Craft Beer Calling 2018. Yellow gold colour, thin white foam head leaving lacing and zesty citrus aroma. Taste is malt, grain with citrusy zesty hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tart finish. Quite OK
