Can from Sterk Amsterdam. Aroma is piney hops, fruits, citrus, pine resin, orange, some malt, spruce, touch of grapefruit. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Nice classic American IPA, quite hoppy with lots of pine resin and orange. Good!

Blue can poured in glass. Slight aroma of orange hops. Clear pale. Taste is rather iniquitous IPA. Everybody gottah make IPA, there are tonz of them out there. Typical bitter hops and rather rude, like any IPA. So be it. Just another IPA - nothing special. Everybody thinks its a nifty beer. I'll tell you this. Buy just about any brand, can bottle or draft; they're all the same. Just buy the cheapest and there you have it. Not impressed the least. A good cheap lager is actually more enjotable and refreshing than 99% of the IPA out there. JMHO. Some carbonation, not much. Its pretty much mouth coating clear to the end. Not impressed, very rarely impressed by the man's beer, the IPA. Its just straight up happy BS.

2/6/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! My Brewery #3500. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is piney, earthy, leafy, fruity with a touch of minerals. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation.

Thin tight white head left a spotty cover on a pale amber coloured still body. Sweet fruit & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the front with tingle on the clean back. Sweet, confectionery, hoppy, bubble gum & malt backbone with long bitter finish. Standard.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a thin head. Aromas of light citrus and a little honey. Flavor is pretty boring IPA... a touch of citrus and a nice bitter backbone over a decent body. Finish is pretty citrusy, but kind of washed out. Decent enough, but not much different from most other run-of-the-mill IPAs.

Lacking pretty much any identifiable IPA trait other than bitterness. Caramel malt is prominent, but the hops offer little in the way of citrus or tropical notes, instead only providing resinous pine on the finish. Reminds me of afterthought IPAs youβd find in early-oughts themed brewpubs. Pass.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/11/2019. Pours crystal clear medium golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Nice Simcoe, Cascade, Summit profile. Extremely vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hop complexity; with a nice clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin drying. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Can: Poured alight amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops undertones is pleasant enough. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops notes, light bitterness with some dry malt presence. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable standard IPA while not breaking any new ground.
