Brune foncée, col épais crémeux moka.
Arôme sur un agréable caractère malté - pomme caramélisé, chocolaté noir, fève de cacao, petite note de poivre noir (sans le piquant), délicat bouquet du houblon Magnum avec une touche d'agrumes.
Palais est généreux sur le malté - charge de cacao, chooclat noir amer avec une note de grillé. Belle balance en amertume venant des houblons, pomme caramélisée, avoine en rondeur.

Dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of coffee, cocoa, roasty and bitter with sweet hints, hoppy finish.

Lattina. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il caffè e il fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone castagno va in rapida dispersione. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in buona armonia con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, nocciole tostate, frutta secca e agrumi.

Can at Gains Bar Kortrijk. Black beer lasting tan head. Chocolate oatmeal aroma. Quite a smooth chocolate stout . Not too heavy. Easy drinking. I liked it. Dry finish. Lovely dark to milk chocolate flavour.

Can. Black, tan head. Coffee, roasted malt amd dark choc aroma. Bittersweet flavour, caramely roast, some coffee. Sweet roasted finish.

Pours nearly black, medium sized, mocha colored head, medium to fairly good stability. Scent is weak, some roast, but not at all smooth, almost a metallic-like sharpness to it. Taste is sharp as well, roasty but to the burnt, ashy, metallis side rather than the creamy chocolateness one would enjoy. Thin, even at the current ABV, with medium high carbo. Not a great achievement here. The adjuncts gives a weird, plastic-like sidenote, that doesn't do the beer a great lot of goodness....

Can at home. Opaque black color with an average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, cocoa, light iron, oatmeal, slightly dusty but overall quite good. Pleasant beer, I like it.

Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met schuim dat snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet met duidelijk iets van chocolade, wat koffie, hazelnoot en een vleugje vanille.

Can from Hopduvel. Hazy black, stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of wholemeal bread, toast, fondant, walnut, coffee pads, 'bloody' iron. Taste has sweetish prune, apple, sourish blackcurrant in a malty core of toast, wholemeal bread & fondant. Earthy hoppy finish with dried fruits, cocoa bean and coffee grounds. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Technically flawless, very drinkable low-ABV Stout.
