Bottle, bb 2/21. Smells pretty fresh but this the right ABV. Hmm. Clear orange with a dense white head. 3+ Aroma of spiced orange peel, crackery dough. Hints of booze and herbs. So it tastes until it's wrapped up at the end with a finish that is bitter and herbal and dryingly boozy as it grips. I'm a sucker for such a finish.

Bottle. Golden coloured beer with a strong frothy head. The aroma is lightly spiced and vinous, and the flavour is mildly bitter and roasted with a good degree of spice and vinousness. Overall a reasonable Belgian ale.

33cl bottle (7,2% and BBF: 26/02/21 so very probably they come back to version from 2016) from Spar Oostende. F: thin, white, not long lasting. C: deep gold, clear. A: malty, vaguely fruity, pasteurized, toast, caramel, bit spicy. T: medium malty base, fruity, bit some berries, bready, caramel, bit spicy, mineral touch, soft carbonation, I expected more from Christmas beer here.

Clear deep orange beer, big creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweetish impression, almonds, marzipan notes, some cherries, cherry flavoured candy, oranges. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, actual cherry cola, maraschino cherries, little malty. Aftertaste: sweet, slightly bitter, some orange peel, sugary, sweetish, cherry flavoured candy, bit malty, slightly sourish, soft bitterness, meh, not very impressed…

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Christmas beer evening; shared with Anke!
Pours clear golden with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains malt, hops, grain, some yeast, spices, some fruits, a hint of caramel. It tastes light to medium fruity sweet and light spicy bitter; bit dry, bit hoppy and slightly grainy in the finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. So-so, nowhere intense.

Frothy white left a good cover on a translucent, light golden, effervescent body. Lager aroma _Christmas beer?????_ Medium bodied, soft on the palate, soapy & cloying. This just tastes light a European Imperial Lager. Malt, wheaty & very bland.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. Slowly diminishing white head, spotty lacing, near-clear golden. Restrained aroma of sweet ripe fruits. Mid-sweet lemony fruity flavours joined by grainy malts and yeast. Lingering mid-sweet fruity ending. Well integrated alcohol. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Shared with Liv and Kjell, svenskebyen Bodø 20.05.2017).
