2016 bottle at Grote Dorst. Clearish golden yellow color. Aroma of vinous funk. Taste is softly sour with moderate funk. Hi carbonation interferes with mouthfeel a bit. Still pretty tasty.

Unclear, orange-golden colored, medium frothy white head, not too lasting. Aroma is of some pale malt, grape, funky bretty horse blanket, some straw and herbal notes, citric lemony. Taste is medium sweet malt, moderate funky horse blanket, some tart fruit, bit citric lemony, moderate sourness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. (Bottle sample @ MBCC 2017 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours hazy dark gold with a white head. Notes of fairly expressive funk and yeast, lots of basement notes, wet hay barnyard, soft mixed citrus peels, light white grape and pit fruit, fruit skins, oak, touch of sweet malt plus moderately tart acidic fruit character, finishing dry and moderately bitter with wet grass/hay. Medium bodied and a little oily with moderate, mouth-filling carbonation. Good stuff, the feeling from the Fantome component in this beer is one of increased funk over a typical Bokkereyder concoction. Works nicely!

Bottle @ Koelschip. 2016 vintage. Hazy golden pour with a frothy white head. Very pleasant overripe citrus lambic base nose with lovely soapy saaz hops. Sour, floral, funky & tiny spicy taste. Soft, dry & tart mouth. Extremely well executed dry hopped sour. Love it!

Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Boston, 23 September, 17. As soon as the fast start and everybody ran to the stand to get the sample. Made me chuckle quite a bit. Dirty Golden / orange color. Aroma of musty basement, mild funky yeast, light citrus. Flavor is pretty well blended; mild citrus nuance on top of musty basement, acid, and moldy yeast. But surprisingly not intensely sour. I could actually drink this.
