“Donkey” is in Flanders a nickname for certain inhabitants or even entire village communities. In fact, for them, “donkey” stands for patience, persistence and self-confidence. So is the “EZEL”, a blond beer of highest quality with a mild flavour but fierce character.

Pours clear golden, fizzing, with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma contains malt, citrus, grain, herbs, hay and grass. It tastes medium grainy bitter and light fruity sweet; malty, grainy, grassy finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. This is an 'ennobled' Pale Lager, extremely unremarkable, drinkable with some 'daily food', but then again...

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and a bit of hay, leading to a bitter finish.
