Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers, then dissipates. Booze and vanilla on the nose with some orange and honey as it warms. More vanilla and creamy, slick lactose on the palate. Overbearingly sweet. Like a vanilla creamsicle with sugar on top. Lingering booze and vanilla. Not as strong as some of the more recent Evil Twin releases. Too much sweet lactose and vanilla.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, batch #001, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/rind/zest, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight resins/rinds near the end of the glass. Mildly increasing warmth of 9% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic Milkshake NE DIPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Outstanding Galaxy, Citra, Amarillo profile. Super juicy, lightly dank hop complexity; perfectly balanced malt/vanilla/lactose, not overly sweet from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

Burk wilhemshill utebar.

A hazed blonde ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light resinous hops, light tropical fruits, light doughy character, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light resinous floral hops, light dough and smooth alcohol, light vanilla, very nice. On tap at Lupulus. On tap at Bar Lupulus.

16 oz can from Tavour. Rated last Sunday up the river. Aroma is orangey vanilla creamsicle, citrus peel. Pours hazy sunshine golden with a nice white head. Taste has virtually no bitterness and some moderate sweetness. Has that creamsicle taste. Nice beer.

Draught @ City Hops. Cloudy golden yellow with foamy off-white head, sharp citrus-apricot-melon aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter sweetish taste with melon-apricot flavor, vanilla, and alcohol undertones, smooth body, long vanilla finish. A flavor bomb!
