Draft @ Struise Schooltje, mercike Urbain - 14.09/2016. Dorée présentant un léger trouble, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez léger rendant de belles effluves aigrelette sans pour cela devenir trop surfait, le tout est ponctué par un agréable bouquet de vin rouge qui contrebalance le tout. Petit fruité en rétro avec un côté brett léger funk. Palais est léger, finement malté avec un léger profil suret-aigrelet qui n’est pas surfait surtout pour juste 4.5%. Le profil boisé est là, tout comme le vin rouge mais juste ce qu’il faut pour ne pas couvrir le reste de la bière. Petite touche brett - pêche voire abricot sur la fin. Le plus marrant est de savoir comment cette ’wild fermentation’ s’est déroulée, et au final, la bière est fanchement délicieuse.

Pours unclear blonde, OK white head. Smell is sour, dry, oak, funky. Bit citrussy/apple. Taste is sharp, sour, very dry, oaky. Funk, for sure, can really pass as an Oude Geuze if tasted blind !

Cloudy bright orange beer, practically no head, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, lots and lots of brett, woody, some vinegar, fruit touch, peaches, smells infected, but great! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sour start, very dry, mouth puckering acidity, funky, little bitter, quite some tannins. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, dry, lemony, spicy touch, very lambic like, very nicely done!
