Storage was not good for this beer. Quite oxidized. Not any myrtle either. Still a fine balanced dried fruit flavor. And some spices. So it was absolutely drinkable. Looks great, and a very well masked alcohol.

Awesome story-beer. this collaborzted ale was actually brewed according to recipe’s found in ancient Swedish graves. can’t get more traditioneel than that ! Apparently, beerrecipe’s used to be taken to the Grave in these day’s, litteraly ! Pours unclear Brown. Small White head. Smell is very spiced, bit sweet, bit oxidized almost. Taste is intense, metallic, spices, oxidized, cola-like sweet, syrupy character, but not as fabricated. A LOT of spices. Not bad. Very fun to try a beer like this, but i like modern beers better i think .

(Bottle) Copper colour with brief, foamy head. Fruity, vinous nose with dried fruit, raisins, honey, treacle toffee, apricots, orange peel, herbs and mead-like aromas. Fruity, vinous taste with notes of raisins, apricots, crisp-bread, orange, honey, white wine, herbs and a vinous finish with a touch of mead. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Spicy, herbal and vinous. Interesting and definitely worth trying. Quite nice.

Bottle at Pikkulintu. Ruby color, small white head. Berryish, caramel aroma. Medium-bodied. Cranberry, caramel, red berries in the flavor. Feels less than 10%. Strange berryish Belgo.

Bottle 0.25l at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. BBE 5/2016. Colour is clear orange with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, raisins, some sweetness, honey, wood, dryness and malts. Looks and smells like barley wine but flavor is like woody dry almost like dry cider. Very interesting but not very drinkable.
