5/VI/17 - sample @ LIBF 2017 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2017-717) Thanks to the Belgian RB crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, roasted, dusty, not much else. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, caramel, more cold coffee, pretty bitter, sweet touch, lactose? Aftertaste: bitter, roasted, coffee and more coffee.

Black and oily. Aroma and flavour have bitter orange peel, a little chocolate and liquorice. Very rich and full bodied.

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Color is almost black with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Licorice, sweetness, some coffee and roasted malts. Sweet imp.

Tap @Fermentoren, Cph. Black, thick beige froth. Roasted aroma, licorice and coffee. Sweet flavour, roasted malt, caramel and cocoa. Light vanilla notes and coffee in the finish.

Draft @ Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty sweetish chocolate aroma. Roasted malty sweetish chocolate caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty sweetish chocolate finish.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media, molto persistente. Al naso note di cioccolata, cremino, caffè, canditi, lieve speziatura. In bocca è dolce, forse non bilanciatissima, ma molto corposa e di carattere. A me è piaciuta molto.
