Poured a shiny gold lots of head from bottle. Sour tartness with pineapples and citrus as well as a yeasty funk. Pretty good.

Shared bottle. Pours a cloudy gold color with a minimal white head. Aroma and taste of tart fruit, funk, lemon notes, white grape, dust. Finish is mildly tart. Not bad.

Bottle from Eataly. Pours an unclear golden color with a large, fizzy, off-white head. Frunky and fruity on the aroma, some pineapple, lemon zest, and a bit of pepper / spice. Flavor is similar, though the fruit fades a bit and the spice is a bit more powerful. Mildly tart at most. Dry, peppery close. The mouthfeel is alright, but is hurt by a somewhat harshly high carbonation level. Solid.

Poured into a shaker showing a lot of carbonation, moderately filtration and cloudy orange. I opened it slowly and despite that, the bottle was still foaming for a good 20 minutes. The nose shows a lot of citrus notes of pineapple and orange zest. The palate is well carbonated and full bodied. Flavors of rich orange zest and big citrus notes. The finish shows a strong orange zest bitterness. Not very great fresh, but with time, this could be an extremely fine beer. The potential for aging this beer is outta this world.

On tap at The Ginger Man, NY. A hazy, orange-golden beer with a finger-thick white head. The aroma is mostly on the peachy side, with some generic tartish fruityness chiming in. It’s lightly tart on the palate, dry and medium to full-bodied, with a nice carbonation level. Some bitterness, hints of sea-buckthorn and with a generic fruity touch. Lasting fruity, tart finish. A nice beer indeed, but a tad one dimensional. 150624

750 ml bottle with ABV of 6.6. Shared by Willrunforbeer. Hazy, dirty gold color, soft carbonation level without much head. Aroma is big on citrus, pineapple and lemons, light traces of Bretty yeast.

The flavor is good. Sourness is low with a straight Brett yeast right up front with pineapple, straw and pale grains. The finish is more citrus than sour or funky. Pretty tame overall which is what I like about it. Maybe not top tier but happy to have tried this brewery, would sample more from them.

Bottle at the brewery. Pours mostly clear yellow with a frothy white head. Good fresh aroma, OK flavor. Moderately sweet with lightly tangy lemon and pineapple, some hints of cereal and butter. Low acidity. Light to medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Fairly clean on the finish. Pretty good, somewhat refreshing. Perhaps just a little young.

750ml bottle pours a murky gold with lots of frothy white head. Full disclosure, be careful with opening. My cork was ready to pop the moment the cage came off. I left it to go on it’s own and boy, did it. Hit the ceiling. I was surprised to see no gushing. Just a carb problem? Who knows? Lots of brett in the nose, straw, dusty, some band aid, a fair amount of tropical fruit, pineapple, guava, some basil seed. Flavor follows right along, fruity, lightly sweet, pineapple, basil seed, chrysanthemum, straw, a little wood pulp, some band aid. Finishes fairly full bodied and spritzy. Solid first attempt.
