Aroma is quite grassy. Dry, grainy flavour. A well balanced decent tasting blond.

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet. Uklart. Gylden farge. Kremaktig skum som fort blir borte. Krydret aroma dominert av pepper. Avrundet smak. Starter krydret men avrundes fruktig. En tørr bitterhet kommer sigende. Godt øl - men litt kjedelig.

Bottle from Bootlegger. Very hazy amber with a frothy white head. Aromas of spice and lightish stone fruit. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Fruity, spicey malty with a not dry herbal, bitter finish. Drinkable Belgian.

330 ml bottle (Blonde Biologique). Hazy golden body with a diminishing white head. Mild aroma of sweet malt, spices and fruit. Flavor has a light malty touch with a fruity sweetness and low bitterness. Quite pleasant, but ends up rather one-dimensional.

Bottle. (as Blonde Biologique) A slightly unclear dark golden-orange beer with a good carbonation and a dense finger-thick white head. Quite fruity nose, overripe fruits I think, sweetish and with a touch of spicyness. Effervescent in the mouth, with flavors of pale malt, fruits, banana and pear mostly, a little yeasty touch and a hint of spices. Medium body. Some bitterness in the finish, but mostly malty sweet with fruityness and a touch of spicyness. There’s also a little note of alcohol in the finish, giving a pleasant warming feeling. Easy to drink, but rather boring. A little too low on almost everything. (081213)

330 ml bottle, simply called Brunehaut Blonde, Bière Biologique (Organic Beer), courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Cloudy golden colour, big white head. Moderate wheaty aroma, hints of banana and cloves. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately yeasty and slightly citrussy, but otherwise fairly bland. Minimal hops. Not much here to get excited about. The alcohol is well hidden though.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Gold, lasting white head. Some Belgian yeast on aroma, some hop. Bit of toffee in mouth. Some hop on end. Not a great blond. Toffee in the middle makes little sense and it isn’t really hoppy enough for a blonde. OK, but too much sweet toffee.
