The No War Rye Ipa is a rye beer with an intense yellow colour, supported by an intense hopping which elegantly expands its aromatic range and emphasizes the characteristic spiced aroma which is typical of rye. This malt makes beer light and dry, and the head is creamy and persistent.

330ml bottle @ the 7th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Aug 14, courtesy of Paolo. Pours hazy yellow with bubbly white head. Has a great rye sweetness to this, fruity, citric, juicy and highly drinkable. Great stuff.

Bottle: BBD 2nd Mar 2015. Shared in Shrewsbury on 10th Aug 2014. I was the last to get any of this, so my cloudy old golden pour was full of sediments: cheers guys! I got more flavour and aroma than the rest but not a clear glass. Citrus notes throughout the brew, it seemed more like a wheat beer than a Rye IPA, but the grist most likely did that. Another unexpected beer to turn up in Shropshire and an interesting brew at that.

Murky gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is dry and crisp. Dry malt cream. Little rye spice. Dry seltzer. Very mild orange citrus. Light floralness. Light dry finish. A bit dull really!

Bottled @ Camping Ratebeers 2014, small sample. Slight grainy rye, citrussy hops. Medium bitter in taste, backed up with some maltiness. Nice stuff.

Bottle at Barely Legal Tasting Room . Pours very unclear yellow. Good white head that is very resistant . Stays up quite a while even if I use a wet glass ( Against principles , I know ) Smell is intense . Robust hops, some grains . some faded wet-cardboard almost ( but not as bad) . I assume it is the yeast . Taste is straight up bitter, but in a good , hoppy way . Intense, full , but not too overpowering . In the back there is some rye, but it’s rather hidden to me . There definetly is an aromatic side here, but the bitterness is overpowering it, so its very difficult to put your finger on . Quite nice , not as complex as I hoped, and I like more aroma . But certainly not bad !
