From tap at APEX, Portland. Aroma is sour and tart raspberry with notes of oak and a funky touch. Nicely puckering sour flavour with a long tart raspberry finish. Body is medium. Wow, wonderful Raspberry Sour!

750 ml bottle. The beer is a bright slightly purplish ruby red. Light pink head, fairly rocky, good amount of lacing. The aroma is full of nice raspberry action with a good dose of funk and milk oak. It’s fairly jammy, not straight smuckers action like some of their beers but nice enough. Good mix of sweet and tart berries. Some boysenberry-esque vegetal depth. The poopy dg funk is quite nice in this one, stronger than expected. Taste has medium tartness. Pretty good pucker on there. Not too acidic but there’s some burn. Funky finish. Quite dry. Lots of berry flavor. Light and pretty easy to drink despite the tartness. Good beer.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is very raspberry forward with a light jamminess. Some light phenolic and tannic notes. Light oak notes. Light citrus and tropical fruit notes. Pours a slightly hazy, pinkish purple with a medium large to large, frothy, moderately thick, pink head that shows average retention as it recedes and disappears. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sweetness and hints of grain. Moderate raspberry notes with a light jamminess. Some nice fruity berry notes with a bit of a tannic and skin note. Light leafy phenolic notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high to high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very nice beer. The raspberry notes are not super jammy and rather very fruity with some tannic spice and leafy phenolic notes. Fairly acidic but not too sharp.
