Bottle at Cafe des Bains De Panne. Hazy amber colour lasting white head Light earthy hoppy aroma. Yep that's a tasty full on blond. Some alcohol is present. Good spicy hop on the finish. Goes well with my croque monsieur boom boom. Tasty

Pours unclear blonde, good to big white head. Smell is bit yeasty, mild bitterness. taste is very sharp, yeasty, bitter, Belgian yeast( overripe fruit ) for the most part. Alcohol shows in the taste, but it ain’t boozy. Not bad. bit simple perhaps, and you can get far better, tastes at this ABV.

Sold in De Panne to promote tourism there but I would not be surprised if this is a simple variation of Het Kapittel Blond. Irregular, cream white, lightly sticky head, misty peach blonde colour. Aroma of peach, apple, pear, vanilla, cinnamon, iron, caramel, honey; sweet, soft fruity taste, mild coriander spiciness, light caramel malt backbone, brief and somewhat restrained hop bitterishness. Accessible, decent session beer.

10/II/13 - 33cl bottle from Nevejan (Krombeek) @ home - BB: V/14 (2013-157)

Clear blond to light orange beer, big frothy irregular white head, unstable, bit adhesive, small chunks floating around. Aroma: lots of citrus, pretty yeasty, bit dirty, overripe fruits, spicy, metallic. MF: lots of carbon, light to medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, citrus, spicy, cloves, metallic, sourish, grains. Aftertaste: pretty metallic, some banana, bitter, grassy, almost medicinal, spices.

April 2010: Brown 33cl bottle, poured into a Duvel glass, sediment and all. Murky orange body, was lighter, but as the sediment arrived the beer obviously turned in colour and appearance (clarity wise). I allowed the beer to settle and large ’pieces’ began to sink downwards but it remained dull and cloudy. The smells were orange, corriander and sweets/candy. The taste was simular to the smells, a sweet orange and corriander feel to it. A bit too sweet for me. Not the greatest Belgian Pale Ale by any means, but an interesting beer non-the-less.
