Curiosity Thirty Three was imagined as the beer I’d like to enjoy as I say goodbye to my thirty third year of life. The base utilizes just 2-row and dextrin malt and is fermented with clean American Ale yeast presenting a beer whose flavors are solely an expression of the hop blend used. We experience flavors and aromas of citrus juice and a blend of tropical fruits balanced by a gentle, clean, and classic bitterness. Thirty three is dry yet juicy, pungent yet elegant… A nostalgic creation imagined for the future. We love it, and are excited to share it with you!

Can shared in Buffalo - sourced via trade. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Nice aroma, some juicy tangerine, pale bread, pine needles. Light-medium sweet flavour with pleasant, juicy and vibrant citrus fruits, melon, tangerine, peach. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good balance in the finish, more tangerine, melon, a bit of dank push. Lots of citrus, some tropical aspect. Excellent.

Translucent with a moderate haze. Golden-copper and topped by a white head of low retention.
Initial aroma notes give off quite a bit of ester with watermelon and bubble gum quite prominent. Spicy and floral and reminding more of Green or Sap and not the Julius line. Yep, definitely getting lots of fruity hop notes, with light lime and hints of spicy pine; very Green like the more it opens up. No alcohol or flaw. A bit more reserved in the nose than expected (not that you can predict the Curiosity series) without any huge juice elements. Dry, spicy, estery, but certainly interesting in its own right.
Quite a bit more flavorful than the nose would suggest and as good or better flavor than the best batches of Green I’ve had. Spicy, dank, green hop notes are fresh and lively. Light pine sap, plentiful, dry pineapple and as it warms, it gets quite a bit juicier and softer with an endearing bitterness that balances nicely and keeps the finish crisp. A very solid IPA, as you always get from Tree House, but this one didn’t really seem all that much different from their regulars, not that that’s a bad thing. Maybe every-day drinkers of Tree House would be able to pick up on more subtleties here.

Can, by way of a trade. Bright, yellow gold. Fairly hazy, the first half pouring almost clear. Sticky, messy, lasting, bright white head. Looks boss. Nose has melon skin. White grape. Overripe orange. Some cracker biscuit malts. Some stone fruit on the back end. Taste is light, juicy, citric bitter. Some dryness. Some sticky sweetness on the lips. Soft and juicy mouthfeel. Light and earthy stone fruit on the finish, with the citrus remaining throughout. A little off the beaten path. Lovely.

Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma is very hoppy with some citrus and tropical fruit notes. Light cracker malt notes in the background. Orange, tangerine, mango, and papaya with some onion/garlic notes. Pours a somewhat hazy, golden orange with a medium small, thick, white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers throughout. Medium light lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some cracker malt notes. Moderate mango and tropical fruit notes with some citrus and lighter dank notes. medium bitterness and hints of alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice IPA. Great hop notes with complex character to it and light, background malt notes.

Can thanks to Brandon. Pours a cloudy orange with medium off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit, yeast, grass. Medium body, pineapple, mango, yeast, light bitterness, very nice.
