Bottle from a local Métro store. The bottle shows separation, but don't worry - it will all go well. Pours a hazy yellow-golden colour with a big frothy white cap, good retention and thick foamy lacing. The aromas are quite different with lemon sourness, honey sweetness and gooseberry notes fruitiness. Hints of cilantro. The taste has these berries, which are again, different, but nice. You kind of get use to them as you sip. Mild citrus notes, sourness. Some yeast. This is actually way better than expected. Very interesting.

341mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a cloudy opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out the tart fruity notes from the sea buckthorn upfront, followed by Belgian yeast, and dry biscuity notes. Flavour is dominated by the lightly tart sea buckthorn berries, with subdued floral notes and a touch of Belgian yeast. Restrained and gentle, but it's really well-executed. Finishes with a dry, gentle tartness from the berry skins. Usually wouldn't be so enamored with something like this. But, this is really nice.
