22oz bottle 73 of 213 pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is chocolate fudge vanilla some bourbon barrel notes and coffee. Taste is more of the nice sweet roast malts Bourbon Barrel vanilla coffee and plenty of that fudge brownie note.

Bottle thanks to George. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is light roast and chocolate. Thin mouth with dark chocolate, coffee roast, bourbon, light bitterness, very good.

Bottle @ Darkness Day eve, thanks to StFun for sharing. Pours a black appearance with a dark brown head. Roast, dark chocolate, light chocolate, whiskey and some fruit in the nose. Many people complained about a massive infection in this beer but I didn’t think it was too bad. There was a touch of a twanginess but the bourbon and booze seemed to cover it pretty well. I’d like to try another bottle but I kind of enjoyed this one.

Shared with urbain and david ( struise ) and travlr Bottle from bobochamps . Pours dark brown no foam Smell is barrel aged , coffee Taste is bitter , chocolate , hint of sour . Nice .

ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Opaque black beer, small tan head. Light dry palate. Smooth dark malt. Semi sweet bourbon with coconut. The coffee is quite well buried but a nice beer overall.

Bottled@my birthdaybash@Chriso. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, some liquorice, alcohol and mild vanillaish notes. Flavour is big time coffee, mild alcohol, some liquorice and roasted malts along with some ashy notes as well.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ chriso [ oh6gdx birthday bash tasting ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing to lasting, light beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, coffee, alcohol - bourbon, rice coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, coffee, bourbon, vanilla, dusty coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111203]

Bottle thanks to hophead22. Pours with a near black body with a small tan head. Aroma are a touch tart, currants, spicy/peppery coffee, roasty, chocolate, vanilla. Flavors are coffee, nutty, and good roast. A bit of vanilla towards the finish. A bit tart as well. Seems like the early onset of an infection. Dry and a bit thin.

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Really black, no head. Aroma of treacle and vanilla. Sweet and heavy with massive body. Super sticky and bold, truckloads of treacle and vanilla. Some coffee may be there too. Not a complete trainwreck, but not far from it.

Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. Pours an oily, rich brown with a foamy, beige head. Rick coffee aroma. Very sweet flavor with plenty of coffee, mocha, roasted malts, brown sugar, some lightly stinging booze. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warm finish with wood, roast, booze, coffee, mocha. Good stuff overall.
