Notes from 12/02/18 Bottle from the downtown Asheville pub location. SN goofy sidecar glass. Big chewy-looking, ever expanding, lingering, almond-orange colored head. Light, foggy honey ale body. Smells of lemon, orange rind, powdered sugar, dusty crust & softly herbaceous hops. Tangy, sweet & sour lemon/lime, very faded toast-like malt, very light oxidation, plus that somewhat indescribable floral/shroom/plastic/gummy flavor combo that makes up good brett. Body goes down easy (& is on the thinner side), but has a slight greasy feel. The bubbles could have been sturdier. Not what I thought it would be, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Tart without reaching face-puckering levels of sour. Slightly sweet, with vinous notes combining with oak and a modest touch of funk. Good beer.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong brett, oak, funk. Thin body, funky, lemon zest, brett, nice tartness, very good.

Keg at BD Sheffield. It pours lightly hazy deep orangey amber with a medium white head. The aroma is musty, funky brett twang, barnyard, white wine, ripe metallic orange, Irn Bru, dusty, old wood and sourdough bread. The taste is dry, tart, zingy, musty, funky, vinous, tart white wine, gooseberry, brett, spice, hay, tangy tangerine, oak with just a touch of tannin. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Really well put together with good balance. Plenty to. Keep you occupied. My favourite beer from these guys so far.
