The Saison Dupont Bio* is a top fermentation, blond beer with refermentation in the bottle. Created in 1990 and together with the Moinette Bio*, one of the two first organic* beers. The Saison Dupont bio* is a very thirst-quenchening beer with a outspoken bitterness and dryness. You will discover a touch of citrus (especially pomelo) which even is a strenghtening of this thirst-quenchening aspect. The long refermentation in the bottle ends up in a very complex but light beer. The production is being controlled by Certisys and has the label Biogarantie®.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Light yellow, hazy apperance with medium, white head. Aroma is funky with notes of barnyard, horseblanket, citrus and belgian yeast. Taste is dry with little bitterness, some sourness and wheaty notes. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation and a somewhat watery mouthfeel. Feels refreshing and is quite drinkable. My first saison ever, but I like it.

0.25l bottle. Pours a light orange body with lots of microscopic sediments and a big fluffy white head. Aromas are blended with banana, light peach, some wheat and yeast. Medium bodied and decent carbonation. Flavors are herbs, grass, citrus, yeast with a earthy bitternes. There is also some latent alcohol lurking in the backgruond that kicks you in the throath long after you have swallow. A good organic brew that's quite easy and refreshing to drink.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Golden yellow colour with lasting, frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy, slightly malty nose with notes of grain, citrus, grass and spices. Malty, slightly fruity taste with citrus, grass, grain and an earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Lacking some of the complexity, freshness and punch of the "not quite as organic" original, but still a nice beer.

Cloudy, slightly brown and yellow beer with medium and white head. Aroma is fresh, fruitfull, yeast, spicyness and some sweetness and flowers. In the flavour is found strongly tripel-like spicyness, fresh fruits, crop field and overally flavour is quite dry. Medium bodied, but still nicely "light" with quite high carbonation. Complex and breezy beer, that surely will refreshning a thirsty summer traveller; I will enjoy a lot of this beer at summer.

[4/10] 750ml bottle. Cloudy light orange, towering off-white head. Aromas of dough and orange blossoms with some banana and spice. Taste is on the sour side of the sweet/ sour/ spice balance with some funk and spicy bitterness. Mellow and refreshing. [3.7][1/18] Been a while. Floral and citrus aroma, crackery dough. Just demands attention in an aperitif way. Cleaner than normal SD, quite punchy citrus and spice. Bitterness stands out more. Very refreshing.
