Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräuweisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a hazy yellow colored looking body with a nice lumpy two and a half finger white foamy head that must last for at least a good three minutes before dieing and leaving some foamy clingy lacing in its wake.
The smell has strong notes of spicy clove, \"banana\" esters enter in to assist in balancing. Some wheatiness comes in as well.
The taste was spicy yet sweet yet wheaty, slight \"banana\"-like aftertaste, sweet dry finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a medium in body, and was somewhat sessionable. Carbonation seems a bit more subdued than most hefeweizens I’ve had, however its still pretty good for the style.
Overall, hey what a nice hefeweizen, glad I tried this and would greatly welcome this again, which says a ton since I’m not a true hefeweizen fan.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Cloudy pale golden color with large creamy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of wheat, banana, yeast and herbs. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy malt, following is refreshing citric acidity with spicy mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and lively natural carbonation in palate. Very drinkable, one of the best hefeweizens...

500 ml bottle. Aroma consists of banana, wheat cracker, clove--very nice. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head with excellent retention. Taste is sweet and spicy with all aroma descriptors firm; classic German Hefe flavors. Fine carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, medium body. Excellent, top of its class.

Bottle. A- Bananas, flowers, herbs, spices, citrus, bubblegum, vanilla. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Strong banana and bubblegum notes. Subtle spice notes. P- Medium body, average texture, medium carbonation, fruity finish. O- The bubblegum and banana notes were too strong for me in this beer.

On draft at Trio in Kitty Hawk. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a thick lasting white head. Aroma of lemon curd. Flavors of lemon and biscuit. Light bodied. Smooth crisp finish.
Update January 2018: after two tram powder runs at JHMR, this beer hit the right spot. Delicious.

Aroma: lemon, banana, not much yeast. Pale colour, cloudy. Lightly sour, light sweetness. Creamy texture, average carbonation. An average weizen, a big disappointment after trying their Ur-Weisse. Bottle.

Very pleasant weizen with a gentle soft body of wheat. It’s not very special, but very nice to drink when it’s hot.
