Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is weak, bit madeira. Taste is dusty, metallic. Mild madeira. The taste is weak, but the bit of taste you get is far from good. The fact this beer is to old ( thanx, delirium bar, for not noticing me on the 2 years past BBD ) is not the reason though. this one was not a great beer from the start, which you can actually taste, still. the chemical side counters the one-dimentionnal sugarry sweetness, now transformed into madeira.

28/IV/13 - 33cl bottle @ Zythos Bierfestival (2013-435)

Clear deep orange to light amber beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, mainly oranges and tangerines, bit sugary, marzipan, cookie dough. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty, some citrus, orange juice, tangerines, soft bitterness, overall a very fruity impression. Aftertaste: orange peel, some banana, hint of marzipan, bitter hops, bit spicy.

bouteille 33cl, BB 11/2014.
