25 cl bottle @ home, BBE 18.04.2020 Aroma is mild with fruit candy. Flavour has odd tart-ish and leathery vibes and mild green apples. Foamy palate. Odd and mild stuff

Bottle @ home. Blond colour, white foam. Very yeasty, notes of banana, some citrus. Not very well balanced.

Pours unclear yellow, like a white beer. Small white head. Smell is bit spiced, rather sweet. Taste is sharp, bitter, lemon fruityness, or more juicyness, as it is really lemonade-like. More ’beer-ish’ than radler, but mostly because it is yeasty on top of the lemon characters. Fairly bitter, dry ending, trough it’s sweeteners. Not great... Not great at all.

Pours clear yellow with a small, thinning, white head. The aroma contains yeast, citrus, spices, wheat and soap. It tastes light wheaty sour and light grainy bitter; dry, metallic finish, soapy. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Really quite bad. (Edited 20/5/18)

Bottle @ Brasserie Strijdershuis, Brugge. Hazy yellow-blonde colour with a very thin head. Identifiably Belgian in style but with a large carbonation which affects its taste and mouthfeel. It’s active in the palate and not better for it. There’s some sour citrus involved here but it is light.

Another Hoegaarden clone, but more ’honest’ and refreshing than its ancestor, with a dryingly sourish finish. Not bad for the style. Originally from Crombé.

22/IV/2012 - 25cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ Bouvier's place - BB: 27/IV/13 (2012-393)

Clear blond beer, aery white head, unstable, bit ahdesive. Aroma: sweet malts, bit soapy, some honey, sugar, but mainly a specific yeasty character (reminds me of Tripel Karmeliet yeast). MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus fruits, little soapy, lemon, some grapefruit, pretty bitter, grassy touch. Aftertaste: flowery, yeast thing again, some citrus zest.
