Pours clear amber. Good white head, that fades within seconds.. Smell is Sharp, rather SS et, typical alvinne yeast. Taste is funky. Bit ’sweaty’ . alvinne yeast, yes, as well as a decent bitterness. Somthing off though. Still drinkable, but i can only imagine this aint whatbit is supposed to be

33cl bottle, and ... and surprise, a gusher. lot# 728, BB 07/2016.

RETRY 06/12/2015 @home - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Appearance is same. Nose has hints of fruitiness and sourness, but more spices and bitter hops. Taste is hints of fruitiness, spices, some pepper, light sourness, dry bitter ending. 22/02/2015 @ home - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Hazy orange colour with small dissipating head. Aroma is bready, spicy. Taste loads of yeast, spices some sourness. Something didn’t seem right. Maybe infected? Might try the other bottle I have and try a rerate but for now?

Tripel-like specialty beer commissioned by Pado in Tielt. Cream white head, foggy peach blonde robe. Bready and fruity aroma, apple, strawberry, banana and dried apricot, soft honeyish malt sweetness with a refreshing lemony accent, flowery hoppy finish. This has clearly improved since it was first made ten years ago, it has gained body, complexity and balance, so I will only take the current version into account for this rating.

Bottled (from beerplanet.eu). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white creamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, spicy, rathery malty as well as slightly yeasty notes. Flavour is fruity, spicy, a bit yeasty and also has some slight notes of alcohol and also some strange vegetablylike notes. Except for the slight vegetably notes this was a rather pleasant brew.

Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green. Gold, haze, thin white head. Yes this almond marzipan is definitely on the flavour. Pretty good white stone fruit. Some herby hop on finish. Spicy Belgian blonde. Bit of pepper hop on finish
