Bottle thanks to Luis. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong brandy, roasted malt, cocoa, wood. Thick body, chewy, roast, nice sweetness from the brandy, coconut, wood, boozy finish, very nice.

Woodshed 3.0! Big thanks to dak for saving this whole series and sharing with us. Awesome!! Bottle pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a minimal head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, a mineral sensation, stale maple wood, sweet molasses, coconut and brandy booze. The taste has dark roasted malts and some chocolate coming forward first and then heading into some boozy brandy that is a bit on the rough side. To midway this gets better as pleasing chocolate and toffee rise up and take this into the finish but never really covering up the modest rough booziness. A few more sips reveals marshmallow peeking out from amid the booziness from time to time. Pretty nice sipper.

From the April 2013 3R6P beer tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet cocoa, coconut, pear, apple and a touch of caramel. The flavor was semi sweet malts, Bakers chocolate, vanilla, apple and a light boozy presence. Medium body and smooth feel. Solid.
