Cask. Sheffield Tap. Clear, pale gold. Film of sticky, white head. Kid next to me stinks of expensive, but shit, man perfume. At 5pm. Why? Where’s he going, other than home? Fucking reeks. His mum presses his shirts and he has trolley bags growing out of his arse. Beer has lost, big time.

2nd August 2015
Hazy gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light with a mild minerally crispness. Thin malts. Modest orange hops, tiny bit of pith. Light finish. Inoffensive but tastes a bit staid.

Bottle, gift from Andrew. Hazy dull golden body with a faint white film despite a fairly aggressive pour. Low carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of grape, apple, grass and green pepper. Flavour is tangy, verging on sour. Notes of grass, grapefruit, celery and dishwater. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Tastes diluted and vegetal. Lacking crispness and punch.
