We made gold-fair, clear degustatiebier of 7,2°. it is of barley malt, leaven, water and of course Poperingse hops composed. What concerns the taste, is the first what the presence of a large hop bitterness is notable.

330ml bottle @ De Heksestoel, Loker. Quite an interesting taste this, incorporating elements of cherry and sherbet with a big Belgian yeast taste. Not bad.

33 cl. botttle @ Edison, Koksijde. Deep golden with a white head. Grainy aroma and a grainy taste. More pils-like in taste than a blonde ale. Lively carbonation.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, hops and pine. Light sweet malty flavour, light bitter. Sweet malty finish.
OK, but not very special.

Brown 33cl bottle, best before 29th Oct 2010, drank on a barmy evening 1st July 2009. The front label has a picture of a laughing nunn, but I bought it anyway! Poured swiftly into a Duvel glass. Large white head sat on top of a golden almost clear body. Yeasty smell, they have used Poperinge hops, so because I knew they were in there, I could smell them too! A lttle dry compared to a lot of Belgian Blondes, but pleasant enough. No huge flavours to comment on, a slight earthy, grainy feel to it, but this is just a run of the mill filtered Belgian pale beer in my opinion.

Crystal clear blond colour. Aroma is of fresh hops but also slightly soapy and sterile. A fresh tasting beer with light hoppiness.

33 cl bottle @ De Garre, Bruges. Rated on 15.07.2010
Orange and sweetish malt in the aroma. Flavour has sweet malt, some spices and hints of orange. Good and drinkable but still yet another belgian ale.
