Dark amber color. Malty aroma. Slightly smoky, woody malt sweetness. Caramel flavor with an earthy hop bitter finish to balance. Similar to a wee heavy.

On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a hazy copper with thick frothy beige head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and caramel. Medium body, licorice, bready malt, toffee, dry finish, good.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine in Denton, TX. Pours a hazy rusty red color with a small beige head and decent retention. No lacing. Hoppy caramel aroma. The taste matches the nose. Sweet caramel malts flavor with a faint smoky finish, some hops and booze. Imperial Irish. Good flavors but too much alcohol takes it all down a notch.

Draft at Bitter Sisters Brewery in Addison, Texas. The pour is brownish darker red with a small tan head. The aroma is caramel toffee full malt, with a soft grass bitterness. The taste is the rick malt flavors, with toffee, caramel and a bit of a nuttiness finishing with a drying mineral soft bitterness. The palate is medium bodied, natural carbonation and finishing clean. Carries a bigger ABV well.
