“In this bière de coupage, we used a blend composed of 75% fresh saison and 25% foudre aged mature sour beer. This allows the acidity, funkiness, and tropical flavours found in the aged portion to cut through the dry and bitter young saison. The result is a bitter, dry, sour, and funky beer that is an instant classic.”

Flaska drucken på Beerditch. Gyllengul, disig vätska med högt vitt skum. En ganska stiltypisk saison åt det lite syrligare hållet. Citrus, örter, jäst, vete. Ganska torr. Pigg och trevlig

Sampled draft @ In De Wildeman. Citrus golden with a soapy white head. Nose is lemon, weird paper, bread, yoghurt but lemon, citrus dominates. Bit lively tastes like lemon, citrus juice with brett, faint hop, sour quince & some elderflower funk. Basic but tasty.

On tap at The Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Haze gild colour lasting white head. Funky saisom aroma. More sour than I was expecting. Decent. Light yoghurt but vaguely authentic. Some spritz lemon finish. OK.
