375mL bottled Jan 16, 2020 drunk Feb 9, 2024. Clear, rosy brass with a small, off-white head that steadily fades to a large ring. Very, very stiff Sacch and Brett in the nose. Plum only breaks through on the very end, though to be fair, this is four years old, so the fruit should be well-faded at this point. Green apple, vanilla, ultra-ripe hickory/walnut skin from the yeasts. Biscuit, cracker, gentle white pepper on the finish. Very aromatic, but it's definitely pushing it on the Brett expression. Juicy, thankfully not overdone on the Brett (though strange that the nose suggests it might be). Lots of rustic grain, possibly outdoing the yeast character at the start of the beer (like, you get a mouthful of wheaty, spelty goodness ((im sure theres no spelt here, but you get the idea))). This is actually just frickin' lovely. Perfect malt balance with mild tartness, mild plum, mild everything, including Brett. Malty, dry, balanced, incredible as always.

Bottle at HF. Pours clear deep orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Lightly sweet with rich tart plum character, some citric bite, a little old wood, salt, background funk. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Clean and quenching finish, lightly drying, more plummy tartness. Delicious.

50cl bottle via trade, pours a cool rosy color with some creamy, white head. Nice nose, floral, pear, stone fruit, grasses and sweet herbs. Flavor has a nice floral and honey base with the fall fruits on top, herbs, perfectly balanced. Finishes tart, medium acid but very enveloping mouthfeel.
