33cl bottle in 't Brugs Beertje on 30th Jan 2020. Red hue to the chestnut coloured body, light beige head. Malty molasses rule the nose and taste, not a lot of hop action in this caramel and chocolate flavoured brew, mild liquorice notes as it warms a little in both aroma and taste.

Bottle at level 42, thanks to Big Dave. It pours cloudy red - brown with a beige head. The aroma is toasty, earthy, wood, dull spice, leather, must and dirt. The taste is soft, sweet, toasty, big dose of liquorice, aniseed, toffee, dried fruits, leather and sugared plums with a slick, sweetish finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A touch sweet for my tastes. Fair.
