Very clear golden and light orange coloured body with a very frothy, rather large four to five centimetre tall, just off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a pretty ugly lace on the side of the glass. Aroma of grass, lemons, citrus and a very dry malty quality with some biscuity and perhaps grainy malt notes, a smooth, but noticeable lager yeast bite and astringency and some faint doses of metal. Light-bodied; Very crisp and grassy flavours dominate up front with a good hit of lager yeast, crisp grain, soft citrus and some mellow, but drying herbal notes that do shine through from the hops, with a light maltiness that hits the balance just right, but leaves some bitterness towards the end, in a good way. Aftertaste shows some dry and herbal bitterness, some softer citrusey fruit flavours with a touch of sweetness near the end. Aftertaste is floral with a dry bite, showing some softer citrus, grapefruit and fruity sides at first, but a bigger malt, medicinal and astringency towards the end. Overall, a nice and very dry pilsner with some grainy and herbal maltiness with a light hop bite and a smooth complexity, especially at the end. Nice to sample and a good option, especially if you like the style and prefer lighter beers. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 17-June-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 01-October-2020.

Very crisp, some light citrus notes. About as good a Pilsner as you’ll ever find.

16oz can pours a crystal clear straw gold with some sudsy, white head. Nose read true, straw, pale grist, some dried corn, clearly some cornmeal. Flavor is alright, a lick of hop, maybe lime or dried lemon, clear corn grist, some cracker pale grist too, straw. Finishes crisp. Quaffable.
