Butelka. Barwa ciemnorubinowa, bliska czarnej. Piana berzowa, drobnopęcherzykowa, bardzo zbita i trwała. Pierwszy aromat to wyraźny żywiczno-trawiasty chmiel.

Bottle from the Alkohole 24 near the hote. Very dark brown body, black almost, no head noted. Aroma... huge caramel and wormwood, light alcohol. Toasty, caramelly alcohol taste, some herbal notes. Nice body, but way too sweet. Not a good beer as such but terrible for a Black IPA in my opinion.

Bottle split at Islo tasting, thanks to Wingmane, 04/10/16. Light black with a well presented tan cap. Nose is perfume, dark fruit esters, grass, light hop trace. Taste comprises light charr, spice, cocoa rub, baking powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dyring close with a sweetish finale. Low end of the style.

Craft Islington Gathering. Thanks to WingMan. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark chocolate and sweet coffee. Little fruity bitterness. Light semi dry finish. Odd.

Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen, opposite The Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Black with a very thin off-white head. Has a dark malt sweetness in its taste, although not a very stated one, with a soapiness in its nose in this respect. It doesn’t feel its strength.

Bottle at the JK tasting. Bottle thanks to the wingman. It pours darkest brown/near black with a medium light tan head. The aroma is quiet sweet, sticky, chewy malt, chocolate powder and cheap candy. The taste is bitter - sweet, earthy roasted malts, sticky sweetness, coffee grounds and cheap Euro chocolate. Finish is short and sweet. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A pretty poor example of the style.
