Festy. Like those bier-loving Mnchners do. Only Different.

This Oktoberfest Lager is the perfect balance of subtly sweet and refreshingly smooth with a disarming fruitiness coming from El Dorado and Huell Melon early hop additions.

Hops: El Dorado, Huell Melon

Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 2 months past BBE. Clear gold, decent sized white head. Aroma is light bread and flora, hay and sweetness. Taste is malty, light toasted, hay, fruity middle, a bit floral and grassy with a nice bitter kick. Medium bodied, slick. Superb for the style - maybe a touch bitter than standard but who cares its great stuff.

Rocky off white head on a clear amber coloured body. Malt, tobacco & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, sift over the tongue & cloying on the back. Spiced, fruity, raisins, toffee & peppery tastes with a lightly hopped tangy finish. Decent.

Can. Bier Huis, Ossett. Mostly clear pale amber colour. Fine and messy, lasting off white foam. Nose has crusty bread. Nicely nutty malt. Twang of dried fruit. Taste has a soft nutty sweetness. Nicely bitter edge on it coming over herbal and floral. Smooth mouthfeel with fine moussey carbonation. Tingly herb bitterness to finish. Good.
