On the nose, we can clearly distinguish floral and fruity scents: violet and elderflower rub shoulders with aromas of banana and pear brandy. On the palate, this bouquet is completed by notes of coconut and vanilla coming from the oak, punctuated by subtle undertones of caramel and chocolate. The whole gives a pleasantly surprising roundness. The initial sweetness of the beer is counterbalanced by the generously present alcohol. Then, the sweet character of the beer blossoms, with a lingering finish.

750 ml bottle. Pours a a bright reddish brown with light head. Aromas of soft whisky, toasted malts, soapy oak, and toasted malts. Subtle flavors follow same with more pronounced oak plus tobacco and some metallic malts and yeast ala Belgian styles. Seems thin compared to the base beer and way overpriced for the delivery.

Pours deep brown with foamy white head. Aroma has lots of wood, a nice layer of whiskey, and some candy. Flavour woody, candy, and brown sugar with whiskey character. Good amount of carbonation.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a beige head. Aroma is complex and elegant, with plenty of whiskey barrels, Belgian yeast expression, and some candi sugar. Flavour is complex, with lots of complex Belgian yeast, gentle candi sugar, subtle whiskey barrel, a touch of woody oak, and some vanillin. Nice oakiness to it that melds well with the yeast expression. Excellent.
