Couleur noire-brune foncée, col épais crémeux moka.
Arôme au nez chargé de notes de café, grillé en retrait. Le tout est bien dominant avec de fines effluves de chocolat en retrait. Petite touche fruitée noire en retrait.
Palais est intense tant sur les saveurs de café que sur l'apport de sarrasin toasté qui donne un caractère intéressant et vient renforcer le caractère rustique. Chocolat, belle rondeur de bouche, fine amertume au niveau des houblons. Léger fruité noir rappelant une note de mûre en retrait.

Clear dark brown to black beer, huge creamy beige to light brown head, unstable, falls down rather quickly. Aroma: coffee, coffee and more coffee, some caramel, hint of vanilla, more coffee still. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: lots of coffee, some dark chocolate, more coffee, sugary, very roasted, all coffee. Aftertaste: sweet touch, lots and lots of coffee, bitter, good roast, some caramel, dry, more coffee.

On tap at La Source, Brussels, Friday 29th April 2022. Pours black with a fast disappearing head. Lots of coffee (*its a buckwheat and coffee stout), soft moutheel, a bitter and tangy stout with heaps of coffee. The finish is dry.

8,4% abv. Like always with la Source... It smells and tastes like discribed on the can which is great! Tasty black beer!
