On tap at Higgins Ale Works, München Friday 17th March 2023. Pours black, roasty malts but also good strident hoppiness floods through, pleasant soft mouthfeel, a good liquorice bite, some fruity chocolate, v.good.

Brown. Aroma is heavy mushroom bandaid pepper some stinky curtain. Taste is chocolat with some umami mushroom. Quite light. The aroma is a bit off putting though.

Bottle. Also had it fresh on tap this spring. Dark brown. Stouty. Back then it was quite sweet, decent.

Bottle. Dark brown color with eggshell head. Aroma is chocolate, grainy, cocoa, a bit stinky halitosis. Taste is black bread, grainy, chewy. A bit mineraly. Should have tried earlier I suppose.

Bottle. Black, creamy tan head. Dark roasted nose. Medium to full creamy dry body. Dark roasted coffee/cocoa, nutty, light salt, a hint fudge, licorice retronasal. Nice with an easy to drink dry flavored stout.

Bottle from the brewery. Very dark brown, small head. Nose of mild cacao and coffee roastery notes. Very smooth flavor, mild bitterness with mid-complex nutty roasted goodness. There's a bit of chocolate flavor but not overwhelming. Relatively dry especially for mid-six-percent. Tasty stout!
