Restrained banana aroma. Smooth malty taste with a nice low banana taste.

Bottle at the Bräuwirt in Amberg, Friday 18th October 2024. Pours hazy amber with a white head, nice wheatiness and decent carbonation are two immediate takes on this. A pleasant spicy edge and good full flavour, almost a Belgian feel to this. I like it.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mein-Biershop.de', best before December 2021. Slightly hazy, deep amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-floral aroma of caramel, apple and honey. Gently sweet, malty, slightly yeasty-spicy taste of banana, caramel, nuts, honey and hints of apple, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Interesting Weizenbock, a bit untypical but not bad.

33cl bottle, thanks to Kappldav. Smooth mild grainy beginning. Hints of nice clove in the aftertaste, grain and moderate bitterness in the mainpart. Nice alcoholic grainy aftertaste, clove and warming alcohol in the back. Interesting mix between bitter grain and clove.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Malty-sweetish aroma. Starts malty-yeasty, light sweetish, wheaty notes. Well balanced finish, light alcohol hints. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Weizenbock mit 6,9 % Alkohol, 16,9 % Stammwürze. Farblich geht das als heller Bock durch. Geruch fruchtig, mit minimaler Sektnote. Geschmacklich vergoren fruchtig, etwas Alkohol, etwas Malz, minimale Essig- und Sektnoten. Bleibt insgesamt relativ neutral und ist trotz reichlich Kohlensäure recht süffig. Gut trinkbar.

RB backlog, thanks beerhunter111. Medium white head on a golden body. Green banana, spices, orange, wood. Sticky sweet with a slightly velvety, mealy finish. Full body with soft carbonation. Not my cup of tea.

Winkler Jubilatus, Serie 2017, Flasche (33 cl, MHD: 30.07.18) von Mein-Biershop.de. - Trüber Bernstein. - In der Nase elegante, mild herbe Orangenschale über sattem Weizenmalz mit dezentem Karamel, Banane und Nelke. - Antrunk füllig aber elegant weizenbierig mit feiner Nelke über breitem Weizenmalz mit milder Karamelsüße, geschickt ausbalanciert durch aromatische Orangenherbe. Perlend rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang feine zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Sehr runder, eleganter Weizenbock, der trotz langer Lagerung (beim Brauer oder Händler) kein bißchen alt wirkt.
