Can from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is roasted malt with subtle chipotle, caramel, milk chocolate. Sweet flavour, moderate bitter. Somewhat creamy body. Decent Milk Stout, hoped for more chipotle...

Pours black oily, no head. Aroma of heavy chocolate. Taste has more chocolate heavy burnt malt, some lingering elements of toasted grain. Very heavy palate, thick coffee, burnt malt base. Good.

Pours black, medium sized, tanned head that is surprisingly stable. Scent is roasty, mild chipotle aroma as well, ashy, burnt aspects by the roast - not as smooth as I personally prefer. Taste is fairly intense, roasty, tastes very ... Aged. Though the beer is not that old, and was always kept cool ... The peppers are medium intense, but provide a good warmth at the end that lasts long, lifting the beer up which would otherwise be rather bland and dull. Decent.

330ml can from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Dark brown and slightly translucent with a very quickly disappearing tan head. Dark chocolate in the aroma, some black pepper, a little bit of chilli. Sweet, chocolate and liquorice taste, with the chipotle and booze warming the body all the way down. More chilli in the finish and on the lips in the aftertaste. It’s prominent throughout but doesn’t overdo it. Just incredible all the way through.
