Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: malty start, very roasted, dry, grains, hay, cow fodder, decent. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, very hoppy, good roast, coffee grit, very malty, grains. Aftertaste: dry, very bitter, hoppy, roasted, coffee, a bit malty. Decent porter/stout. Only afterwards I read it’s supposed to be an Indian Porter? So Black IPA? Not a lot of aromatic hops then…

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, Sunday 2nd October 2022 in the company of Lynn and Barry. Pours black with a beige head, wow....super hoppy, but roasty, smooth, but fresh green hops. Good.

Tap at ML Fontainas. Black with deep brown head. Lots of roasted malts, earthy, toffee, dank hops, chocolate. Solid medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Quite nice.

Brune foncée, col fin blanc-cassé vers le mocha.
Arôme est fin malté, grillé, qcq pointes de café, légère amertume perce en rétro-nasal avec un côté herbacé.
Palais garde une approche un peu 'Kernel' et ce caractère black IPA - sec levure, dark malts, grillé, pointe de hop burn rappelant la poudre d'ail - amertume fine et herbacé avec une sécheresse marquée.
