clear amber,white head
malty ale aroma with clear notes of wood and sherry. fairly balanced, quite complex. some fruity notes, i think some notes from nyeast even
flavor is a bit less interesting with sherty and wood dominating over a fairly boring and industrially tasting amber ale. the kind of beer where you can taste the alcohol. however, for a supermarket beer this is very okay.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque with floating impurities and a small, rough, beige head. Faint biscuity malt in the nose with subtle woody notes. Medium body, super dry with same notes as in the flavor. Don't expect this to be a Sherry beer. It's fairly dull and very dry. 231025

A bit cloudy amber with a massive off-white head. Melted caramel notes, wet, sweet dough, some fruit, and the sherry does show up but very muted behind the caramel. Medium bodied. Definitely does not live up to the Pilsner in quality nor enjoyment.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts, raisins, oak and old sherry. Fizzy and sourish mouthfeel. The flavour is drier than expected, but has the same elements as the aroma.

Brown/orange, hazy with a short lived off white head. A wooden barrels, fruitish and malt aroma. Light bitter, slightly sour with a not the best wooden barrels, earth and alc. End.

pous a bit cloudy amber. Medium small white head. Scent is mild caramel, exhausting esters (much like the 'pilsner' was surprisingly estery (for a lager ! ) this is also a tad chewy. Oloroso is very, veyr mild, but not absent. Mild wet oak as well. Overall, just to expressive on the yeast - which kinda ruins the idea (otherwise great, again a pairing made with knowledge) of Oloroso expression, as well as the beer styletechnically. Taste is bit bitter. Exhaustingly estery. Medium body, raw sugars. Oloroso very hidden . Very mild oak. Bit salty almost. very high CO2. Hard to really drink, kinda hard to enjoy, especially after my high expectations. Needs far, far more barrel profile for it's concept, as well as a better basebeer.

Amber. Uklar. Middels høyt tett skum med litt farge. Lett sherryaroma. Smaken mest sherry. Litt karamell. Syrlig fruktig bitter avslutning.
