Odense Summer Gathering 2022 after Jonas Vingegaard victory on Hautacam. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of big lambic funk with citrus, herbs, wood and spice. Dry and tart fruity and funky flavour. Somewhat plain.

Bottle. Color: Clear orangish golden, big white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma: Farmyard funk, lightly tart, fruity notes of grape, citrus and berries, Taste: Funky and fruity. Refreshing. Light to moderate tart, very light sweet and very light bitter. Hay, subtle lemon and gooseberry, hints of apple and oak wood. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Medium body, average carbonation. Well balanced. Less tart than most other Geuzes I've had. Nice.

Pours unclear, medium dark blonde. Scent is full, oaky, milder fruits (apple) , some oak. Taste is full, tart, medium high carbo. Mild fruityness. Dry, oak forward. Bit generic, but certainly enjoyable. Very mild mushroom character (old wood)

0.75 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', best before October 2041, usually bottled 20 years before. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. A little sweetish, sourish, quite fruity and gently funky aroma of overripe lemon, apple, oak, horse blanket and some leather. Gently sour, quite fruity, rather funky taste of overripe lemon, horse blanket, oak, white pepper and a touch of apple, followed by a medium long, quite tart, fairly woody-dry, peppery finish. Medium body, gently astringent and fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Complex and well-balanced Geuze, highly refreshing, lovely.
