(Draught at Walhalla Brewery & Proeflokaal, Amsterdam, 12 Aug 2023) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of wheat, banana, clove and bread. Malty, fruity taste with bread, wheat, banana, clove and orange. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and well made hefeweizen. Nice one.

Can. Hazy golden. Soft malts, sweet wheat, light fruity, soft spicy yeasty. Medium sweet and very light sour and bitter. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Quite drinkeable, but not as good as the German originals.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a tumbler. Hazy pale amber colour, small frothy white head, diminishing quickly, light lacing. Aroma wheat malt, light banana, lemon peel, cloves, some coriander, bit yeasty. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, wheat malt, light banana, cloves, some coriander. yeast. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth malty aftertaste, yeast notes, cloves and white pepper on the tongue, a wee bit too much cloves but nice.

33cl can. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of wheat malt, some rotten banana, dough. Taste of sweet banana, sweet wheat malt, some phenols, hints of honey.

33cl Blik van Walhalla. Troebel goudamber kleur, witte kraag. Veel kruidnagel, wat peper, banaan, tarwe, redelijk zoet, honing, licht bitter, gist. Ik vind het bijzonder geslaagd, lekker zomerse doordrinker. Lichte body. Smakelijk.

Tap at the brewery, 19th May 2022. Pours off clear. Aroma is yeast and citrus. Taste is light spice and yeast, light banana. OK, but not the best of the range

0.33 l can from 'Drankgigant.nl', canned in February 2022. Hazy, orange with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, minimally fruity aroma of banana, lots of clove, some honey and traces of pear. Gently sweet, malty, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of banana, clove, some honey and a touch of pear, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Weizen, classic stuff.
