On my second flight at the brewpub patio, 13th August 2025. Light mahogany red body, beige crust. Malty, with a dark fruit feel, very drinkable, my sweet tooth picking up the subtle caramel and toffee flavours as the beer warmed in the afternoon sun.

Dark amber colour, with a fairly thick head. The aroma has some mellow crystal malt chewies, and woody hop notes. It's fairly bitter, as one might expect, with a good dose of chewy malt, and a somewhat orangey hop character. The alcohol does show through decently. Average complexity and character for the style, so not bad, but not standing out either.

Okay foam on a clear coppery brown body. Smells of chewy malt, brown sugar, dark caramel. Taste is bitter molasses and bit of biscuit. Ends smooth, a little cloying, but the alcohol is invisible. Nice nonetheless, but it does lay it on rather thick.

650 ml bottle. Pours a mahogany colour with huge head. Aromas of dark fruit, burnt sugar, and metallic bready malts. Softer flavors follow same. Good.
