500ml bottle. Pours gold with a fine mist, large white head. Pleasantly light yeasty nose, soft palate, medium to light bodied, high drinkability session weiß. Nicely presented, cask-y.

bottiglia 50 cl, Leichte Weiße version, bel cappello di schiuma bianco sporco pannosa persistente, colore giallo pallido velato, al naso banana chiodi di garofano tanto lievito, in bocca subito chiodi di garofano poi lievito tanto malto e leggere note citriche, corpo scarno, carbonazione forte, acidula, amaro percettibile. Per lo stile non è male, da bere senza pensieri…. c. Regalata a mio papà dal vicino tedesco 13.06.25

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Moderately wheaty banana-fruity aroma with a touch of vanilla and notes of sulfur. Mildly sweet and sour flavour, light bodied with an almost creamy carbonation. Slim wheat-malty base with notes of banana and a mineralic touch and a low level of phenolic spices; slightly sour-tart and mildly fruity finish with a delicately grainy touch at the very end. 17.VI.17

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 15A). Draft @ Paulaner Am Dom. AROMA: Wheat and yeast aroma with some vanilla notes. APPEARANCE: golden colour and hazy. large white head with poor retention. TASTE: wheat malt flavour with some vanilla and faint banana notes. low bitterness and a semi-sweet finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a slight above average weizen with good aromas and flavours.
