Taster at Hopa. Nem a komplexitas csimborasszoja: brutalisan uralja a kave mind az illatat, mind az izet, szarazan foldes, etcsokis, tanninos. Nincs tulbonyolitva, de egyszeruen csak mukodik.

Lattina. Il naso vira verso il caffè. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane. Il cappello di schiuma. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è nero come la pece. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio. L'amaro è pronunciato e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, crosta di panettone, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, agrumi e frutta passita.

Can. Leftover from 2023. Second early beer for New Year’s Eve 2024, aka coffee beer day. Black with a creamy, off-white head. Coffee aroma. Burnt grains. Licorice. Taste is bitter with milk chocolate undertones. Nice balance. Lingering dark chocolate and coffee. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Good one.

Can from Beyond Beer, Beer Geek Adventskalender, and consumed at home Wednesday 20th December 2023. Pours dark chocolate brown with a fast disappearing beige head. Milky coffee but lots of coffee, in fact this sends me into a huge reminiscent mode, it's as though I am trying Mikkeller Beer Geek when that first came out. Wonderful beer and such a sensible abv. The only criticism that I can level against this is it's a bit of a one trick poney, but hey,!... it wasn't pretending to be anything other than to that.

On tap at CRAK Casana. Black with large dense beige head. Chocolate, cocoa, nice roasty bitter finish. Smooth. Medium bodied.

Tap at Goblet ZG. Very dark brown-black body with a tiny off-whtie head. Big, dare I say huge coffee aroma. Lean taste, chocolate, coffee, coffee and more coffee, excellent coffee profile! Ends dry and a bit bitterish, some coffee residue. Not always the pinnacle of elegance between sips, especially in the body, but very respectable.

On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brownish head, coffee in the nose. Light roasted malt, coffee, light chocolate and ground coffee with mild roasty finish. Alcohol hidden. Quite nice.
