Tap at The Halford. Pours a murky yellow with off-white head that patterns well. Aroma is tropical fruit and white, soft, ripe fruit. A bit of tartness in the aroma. Flavor is tart/slight funk, with tropical fruit. Moderate grittiness in the back half of the palate. Rounded mouthfeel with a bit of prickly carbonation. Slightly astringent. This tastes a bit off vs. the description.

Can at SHIG place tasting, thanks to SHIG, 15/04/23. Moderately hazed golden orange with a decent just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, pine needle, grass, ripe melon, dank strokes, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, pine resin, dank spike, grass, grapefruit, mango flesh, raw pineapple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come resinous hop bitterness. Solid punchy TIPA.

Palate is semi sweet, rounded, some hop oils, lingering zesty orange and pine. Good.

16 oz. can, pours an opaque milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very juicy, with lots of pithy tropical fruits, citrusy hops, and light alcohol. Flavour is very juicy, with lots of tropical fruits, citrusy notes, lots of pith, gentle dank hops, and light chalk. Pretty good clarity for a hazy, and with good balance; the hops have held up pretty well. Good stuff.

Can, shared most generously with pictoman. Muuurky pale yellow body with a lasting, big off-white head. Huge oats in the aroma, this is clearly gone, sweet, vanilla, light stale fruity notes, stone fruit and light tropical notes. Soft, silky, smooth body, fantastic for a beer this size, perfect apart from some hop bite. Light stone fruit, light berry notes, very well hidden alcohol. Clearly mostly gone, but shows how impressive it was once. Raising te overall score somewhat to balance things out.

Poured from 473mL can (shared with Marko - no date stamp, approximating this as 3 months old). Cloudy yellow with small white head. Aroma doesn't hold up, but the taste is still mostly there. Tropical hops, juicy, touch of hop burn, alcohol is mostly hidden. Very nice, despite its age.

Pint can pours with an opaque dull copper to gold body that supports a thin white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up warm clementine and orange as well as tangy tangerine flowing into a blend of mango and pine hoppiness. The taste delivers similar notes of clementine and orange juicy citrus notes as well as softer sweeter notes of mango and a bit of cantaloupe. To midway the tropical facets are joined by thin layers of bitter pine hops and thin sharp booziness. Solid sipper with plenty of depth and interest and just enough there to balance off the load of sweetness.

23rd December 2021 found me in TAPS Brewery and Barrel Room, Tustin. A four beer flight was chosen by myself and consumed by myself too; this was one of those 4oz pours. Hazy pale yellow, white head. Tropical fruits in the nose and boozy body, far to easy to drink for an 11.5% beer, it was like an alcoholic smoothie.
