Bottle split at the Tilt Tasting, Bingohame Convention VI, thanks to Ian 02/07/22. Black with a big old khaki cap that stays for the show. Nose is dark malts, spice, dried fruit rinds, vinous, chocolate dipped raisins, red berry tang. Taste comprises chocolate, toffee fudge, light spice, molasses, toasted brown sugar, dried red berries, trace of wine barrel, oaky tones. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid kit.

Bottle shared at Tilt: Poured a black brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasty malts, sticky, chocolate, fruity, blueberries. Taste is blueberry, roasted malts, chocolate.

375ml bottle at the Tilt tasting; 2nd July 2022; cheers Ian (harrisoni). Tanned top to the black body, not quite clear. Dark berries in the nose, taste is also dark berries, but with a stem/wood like twist, boozy and a trace of chocolate.

Bottle shared at Tilt. Quite tasty overall, a lot of rich dark fruits, a bit of wood, booze. Full bodied, fine carbonation. Moderate warmth to finish.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2022. Decent fruity. jammy fruit. dark roast dark chocolate. I liked the fruit very much.

Bottle shared at cotteridge convention. Many thanks. A dark black brown coloured pour with a lively light tan head. Aroma is nice jammy grape, earthy roast, waxy roast, blackberry. Flavour is composed of jammy berries, woodland fruit, blackberry, jammy, chocolate roast,. Palate is semi sweet, woody roast, woody, airy carbonation.. Nice stuff.

Bottle at the strait and narrow. Jet black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty roasted and chocolate. With berry and light sweet vanilla. Full body.
